tiptoeing in mud

cool softness
subtle mist
beyond sighing
trees

she picks a path
rounding corners
of my mind

encircling
closing in

wet cloth
clinging
to the surface
becoming slightly
transparent

huddled cold
turning aside
on the floor
back again

depths soft hand
of the lake
on my shoulder

stuck to my lungs
suffocating
drowning

Lucida
dances
upon my mind

she finds me
now
again
wind’s whisper
in my ear

across fields
white capped seas
a veil set in
perversion of view
a clouded eye
